Responsibilities:
– Further development and implementation of the market strategy, the product range and sales strategy;
– Significant contribution ︁to the development of a market-oriented business and growth strategy;
– Active treatment of the top key accounts and the systemic further development of operational key account management and customer orientation in the entire organization;
– Integrative and stringent management of all commercial activities including sales, marketing, product management, customer service and category management;
– Maintaining and expanding existing relationships with our customers through regular contact with relevant decision-makers to effectively implement company objectives and strategy;
– Negotiates the annual commercial conditions of ongoing contracts and the listing of new items;
– Ensures the commercial relations developed with clients are carried out according to the concluded contractual clauses and before concluding the annual contracts and commercial annexes, it is ensured that the company can honor the obligations provided in commercial contracts / annexes, before signing them;
– Ensures the receipts from clients for the delivered goods are made in the due period provided in the contract / commercial agreement;
– It ensures that product stocks are ordered by customers and delivered according to schedule to avoid situations of overstocking and lack of stock;
– Contacting potential customers and acquiring new customers for successful cooperation within the agreed strategy and business plans;
– Professionalization of sales – including creating a pull effect in food retail / discounters, innovation-driven involvement of industrial customers, offering holistic solutions in the food service / HORECA business – accompanied by all necessary marketing activities such as social media activities and other effective activities for profitable growth;
– Elaborates the business plan (turnover, sales volume, sales discounts, coverage margin, numerical distribution) and submits it to management for approval;
– Elaborates the marketing plan (budget, actions, and marketing activities to reach the target market share), to pursue the objectives set by group management;
– Transposes the business and marketing plan into measurable objectives for subordinate employees and evaluates them monthly to measure the achievement of objectives;
– Monitors daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and at the end of the year, the achievement of the objectives of the sales and marketing department;
– Comes up with recovery solutions in case the objectives are not met in the time period of the year elapsed;
– Leads and organizes the activity of the staff from the sales & marketing department. Ensures that sales and marketing department employees follow the procedures and work instructions in force;
– Ensure continuous improvement of the sales and marketing department process management;
– Delegates, coordinates, and verifies tasks assigned to marketing and sales department staff;
– Draws up professional development programs for subordinate staff and coordinates and supervises their implementation;
– Follows weekly the fulfilment of the business plan (quantitative) and monthly (quantitative, value -turnover) and profitability (margins);
– Monitors monthly the performance of products from the portfolio and the performance of clients;
– Proposes measures in the case of non-performing items and in the case of non-performing customers;
– Identify directions anAt d business development opportunities;
– Get acquainted with the internal procedures of the sales & marketing department and the general procedures of the company and comply with their provisions;
– Collaborates with other Managers within the company to achieve the objectives.
Your profile:
– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP system;
– Communication, social and negotiation skills;
– ︋Initiative-taking, persistent, analytical with a focus on results;
– English – advanced level; German – advanced level (advantage);
– Higher education (economics, finance, trade, marketing, food industry / engineering, mathematics);
– Experience in managing the sales department (including Customer Relations) and marketing department (budget, planning, strategies, negotiations with IKA, etc);
– At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in meat/meat preparations or FMCG (multinational companies), in IKA;
– Entrepreneurial personality who enjoys creating, making decisions and taking responsibility – coupled with a pragmatic “hands on” mentality and focus on results;
– Proven successful sales professional with a marketing or category management background; track record in business development and positions with business and management responsibility;
– Excellent commercial capabilities as well as good customer contacts and successful negotiations skills (“Making the Deal”); sales excellence up to the Point of Purchase;
– Good knowledge of Foods / FMCG (branded products, distributor own brands / PL) – ideally in sausage & ham categories;
– Experienced in dealing with professional KAM control systems and advanced processes;
– Holistic thinking and integrated action with high social skills;
– Excellent communication and leadership skills;
– Analytical conceptual skills – coupled with Financial Acumen;
– You have a very high level of willingness to change in and adapt to a dynamically developing environment and you are a passionate sales professional;
